The European School of Art and Materials (ESAM) is a Training Centre for those who wish to become matiériste- colorist in wall design, or want to acquire expertise in Finishing Techniques and Interior Design. The School is located in the Rabastens commune, Tarn Department, France, some 35km from Toulouse, in the heart of the beautiful Midi-Pyrénées Region.
The European School of Art and Materials’ curriculum is comprehensive and offers a variety of training modules from academic drawing, tool handling, and the use of materials such as gel, color pigments on lime, earth, plaster...
Our courses are designed for artisans, professionals or young people bringing to the course, innovative ideas on walls and floors contemporary design, while keeping alive ancient architecture. The European School of Art and Materials wants to promote employment within the Building Trades, more specifically in masonry, plastering, and painting.
